Show 11 after being taken ill, was operated upon but was in such serious condition that no one expected him to live. His troupe went on without him, leaving him without a penny. He did recover and very slowly climbed back to health. Because of the care he had received in the Hospital (and with our financial aid) he returned to his native place to give up his profession and join the Salvation Army, the only Christian organization in his home town. N.B. Miss Nelson and Dr. Cooke will still be in Lintsing in 1934 and should be addressed at the Hospital until further notice.
