Show Dr. Liu would become the Superintendent of the Hospital in place of the westerner. Miss Sun who has been with us for ten years took a five-months postgraduate course in nursing in Peiping, the last part of the year. Miss Ts'ui of Tehchow and Miss Wang, a graduate from the Fenchow Hospital in Shansi, have come to us and Mr. Chang, recent graduate from the Tehchow Training School for Nurses has come to take charge of the men's ward, since Miss Feng's resignation. The experiment of a woman in charge of the men's ward has been discontinued due to our inability to find a woman of the right qualifications after Miss Feng left. We wish here to pay a tribute to the faithfulness of Liu Fu Lu, for over fifteen years evangelist and bibleworker in the Hospital, now resigning. Rain or shine, day after day he was as regularly as clock work on hand for the eight o'clock morning prayer service, never lacking lor a message to the men patients-then after his morning meal, always to be found in the wards, visiting with the men and teaching them to read or introducing them to Jesus and the |
