Show COLLEGIATE LIFE

[Inserted here is an illustration of a baseball player, holding a baseball bat while facing left, with a quote bubble saying PLAY BALL. The initials J.T.A. are on the player's shirt.]

We have for some time felt that a system of regular exercise would be of great benefit to the Collegiate girls, and now that we have the use of a gymnasium room we are attempting to establish such a system. The gym is held directly after school on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, and although the attendance as yet is small, a few of us have been enjoying the exercise and have at the same time felt that we were getting some benefit from it. We believe that the most perfect womanhood can come only through the development of all sides of our natures-the physical as well as the mental and moral sides. And it is for this reason that we urge all the Collegiate girls to prepare themselves for better school room work by forgetting the schoolroom for two hours a week and taking regular exercise and recreation in the gym.

Why doesn't Beau Meanest smile at the girls like he used to?
Silly, it's after council elections?

One day, as a Prep was disposing of some bread and milk, he turned around to Miss Furry, and said: "Oh, Miss Furry, I am full of glory! There was a sunbeam on my spoon and I swallowed it."

Ruth and Frances roam around the twenty acres lately. They never care to go down town any more. Queer, isn't it?

If You Don't Buy from Us, We Both Lose!
Granite Lumber & Hardware Co.
SUGAR HOUSE, UTAH

|
