Show THE CHURCH REVIEW <br><br> PHILLIPS CONGREGATIONAL. <br> Miss Alice Durnford was almost fatally burned at a Christmas entertainment in San Bernardino, Cal. At the last report she was out of danger, yet will be left with scars about head and face. <br> The annual business meeting of Phillips church, which was held Thursday evening, Jan. 3, '95, was preceded by a supper, at which forty-one members of the church, and a number who are not members, sat down. At the business meeting the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: For treasurer, Mrs. Wm. McGillivray; clerk, Miss Anna Baker; historian, Miss Maria Coombs; Sunday School superintendent, Rev. D. W. Bartlett; assistant superintendent, Mrs. M. E. Jones; trustee for three years, Mrs. H. P. McArthur; deacon for three years, Orson Lancaster; deaconess for three years, Mrs. Walker. The reports showed that much had been accomplished in the various lines of church work.
