We, in early fall enthusiasm, moved back into our beautifully redecorated South Wolcott home. The hustle-bustle sounds of our busy organization began in the fall with the voices of committees planning for the year; then the singing and hammering of Homecoming preparation and celebration. We felt rewarded for our efforts when the big, bright sweepstakes trophies took their places on new trophy shelves. Activities fell fast upon each other. We succeeded in finding time for high scholarship and a well-planned cultural advancement program. Speakers, a chapter concert, Sub-for-Santa, Campus Chest, and the French War Orphan project were planned parts of a full calendar. Spring weather proved a wonderful background for our annual faculty tea. President 259 |
