Flashback resistance A plate wi th many uniform through holes is used to prevent flashback by making the discharge velocity higher than the combustion velocity of the premixed gas. The rectifying net uniformly supplies the gas to the multi -hole plate and contains any flashback that may occur(Fig.5). The stable combustion range of the new luminous wall burner is shown in Fig.6. The new luminous wall burner does not develop any flashback when turned down to about 30% at an excess air ratio of about 2.2 and produces a luminous wall at a maximum temperature of 1200t.
