As you know, this arrived while Wendell and I were traveling extensively in the Far East. Wendell is still away and at this time does not know when he will be returning, and I have not been back in Hawaii too long myself; I am just now getting to the correspondence. My apologies for not answering sooner. I know Wendell would be deeply honored to appear at the University of Utah, such a very fine school. He will indeed appreciate your letter written to Dr. Fletcher, and if there is anything I can do from this end, please advise me. 0£ course, appearances of this nature are usually set up well in advance and if it looks as though there might be any possibility of Wendell appearing at the university this coming spring, please let me know so I can mark the date on his calendar. Otherwise, I am sure it will probably be considered for 1972, but in any event, we certainly look forward to hearing from you in this regard. Our trip to the Far East was very successful.
