Show \ position from the furnace wall, showing rapid decrease toward the center. At measuring point C and D, C O was not detected. In the case of O 2=2.4%, the maximum C O concentration at measuring point A was 260 ppm at 20-40 m m position from the furnace wall, showing gentle decrease toward the center. At measuring point C and D, C O was not detected. This shows the excellent combustion characteristics, even though the combustion temperature was low. 3-3. Combustion characteristics (Figure 11) The combustion characteristic obtained with this equipment is shown in Figure 11. l) N O x characteristics The N O x emissions at rated load is 40 ppm with O 2 = 4 % , which becomes 28 ppm with O 2=5%, showing rapid decrease of emission. This may be because of lowered combustion temperature caused by excess air.The N O x characteristics at low load is almost the same as at rated load. This means the gas/air mixing device forms uniform mixture at low load. o CJ as o it X o 2000 1500 8 1000 500 O SAMPLING A * SAMPLING C • SAMPLING 0 0 (HALL) 100 200 01STANCE FROM MALL (mm) 300 /FURNACES I CENTER J FIGURE 10.
