Show 9 3 Hannah Mae and the Mona Lisa I always eat lunch at the back table, the one that sits under our school mascot, a big, black and white Holstein cow wearing a snarl and red boxing gloves. She's Battling Betsy and we're The Fighting Holsteins. Dumbest middle-school mascot on the planet. Problem is, Willard County doesn't offer much to choose from in the way of mascots. I suppose we could be The Fighting Corncobs-our county's only other claim to fame. But I don't suspect I'd be any more enthused about that. Cows and com. That about sums up Willard County. |
