Show -190But 1n after days when the photo album is Surned over slowly page by page we find that so groat was tho oharm Of DOUBLE ARGH hat we tricd shot at it fromposition o10se up recording the forward one of the two arohes only With just the slightest corner of daylight showing below the rearward span of ook Note the dark streakings dn the rock any good print of these beautiful arohes will color nicely The predominant tone 1is buff renging fromlight tint of that color to Almostred varied withmild oresny hue in tx hign lignts and these streakings providing exeellent contrast Inproperly taken photo these darker streaks can be seen even 1in the demsest shadow oast by the arch Tere this tinted in an enlargement or transferred tolantern slide the result would be beautiful No soene of tho DOUELE ARCH 1acks in satisfying the eye-and the artistio sense We have now conduoted the tourist through one sector of the area not oo hastily nor too verbose Let us to another pert or better yet 1ot us arrange for horses to be taken out from Mosb and ride them to the points of interest Digital image 2003 Beckwith Family Al rights reserved |
