Abstract Tannenbaum (b. 1921) describes his family background, businesses and prices in Salt Lake City during the 1920s, and his Jewish education. He also talks about scouting, school, ROTC and military school, and his social life as a teenager. Other topics covered include World War II, going into his father's business, Zionism, Mormons and the Masons, the merging of two Salt Lake City congregations, the Jewish underground in the 1940s, and the Jewish community and some of its leaders. 117 pages.
