Show Page 30<br><br>speaker was a disciple of Roger Williams, John Knox, John Wesley or of Alexander Campbell. The relations of the churches are not strained in the least, and while the doctrinal tenets which distinguish them in denominational polity are doubtless declared with fervor from their own pulpits, no sound discordant is heard from the lips of a Baptist, a Congregationalist, an Episcopal, a Presbyterian, a Disciple or of a Methodist, be he African, Scandinavian or just the common sort, these being the constituents of this most catholic body. They have never formulated for themselves any creed, but they do all unite in this agreement with the Apostle's creed-"I believe in the Holy Catholic church; the communion of Saints." The weekly meetings of this body are in the Y. M. C. A. rooms, Rev. G. E. Jayne and Rev. E. G.
