Show Page 9<br><br>The Sunday school has an enrollment of 435. The Young People's society of Christian Endeavor has eighty-five active members, and the Junior society, twenty-nine. [PHOTO: MISS E. E. EBERHARDT.] During the past twelve years the church has established three missions, two of which have grown into organized churches, namely the Westminster Presbyterian church, on Fourth West street, of which the Rev. F. L. Arnold is pastor, and the Third Presbyterian church, of which the Rev. J. McClain is pastor. The Fourth Presbyterian Mission, at the corner of Second West and Tenth South streets, has not yet secured a permanent pastor, but the Rev W. A. Hough is at present conducting services there. In the government and work of the church, as representatives elected by the people, the following six elders are associated with the pastor: W. S. Earls, A. S. Martin, H. G. McMillan, Frank Pierce, W. C. Lyne and Thomas Weir. Co-operating with these are four deacons, who look after the financial |
