Show names of patients and their residences, so that later we can go out into the country and visit them in order. Since 1924 I have gone out four times, and the last two times I have been received more readily, and welcomed by many. On the first two visits many suspected my motives, and said one thing and another, and were afraid to let me enter their homes, saying that they must go to see a merchant, or to visit a relative, to excuse themselves, each releasing himself in a different way. I would say to them, "In coming to your honorable place, I have no other motive except to ask as to your health, to inquire as to your following the Way, and to hope that you will come to believe in it, and to give you these presents," (Leaflets and Bibles.) In giving the above report of evangelistic methods, although they are not perfect, and fall short in many ways, it is |
