Show 26 July L978 Dear Aziz and Lola, Thank you so much for your good Letter and for your kind invitation. It is good news that you^ are thinking of coming to Mexico for a while this coming winter. Re your magnus opus I do hope that I can be of some smaLL heLp. CaLL on me at any time but, frankly, I am not to 'up' on the publishing end of things. I do know, however, what wilL make a good reproduction and what wiLL not...and that is rather important at times! Before proper photographs can be made one absoLuteLy must know by what process they wiLl be reproduced. HaLf-tone reproductions require somewhat contrasty photographs whi le colotype is exactly the opposite. Undoubtedly you are aware of aLL these detaiLs but I thought I wouLd mention it before you get too far aLong with the pictures and then find they aLL have to be made over to suit the reproduction process. I had a sad experience along those Lines in Princeton years ago but I wilL telL you about it. I spent about an hour at the ChrysLer salesroom this afternoon. The 4 salesmen were not busy and we had a great story telling session. I think they are rather anxious to make sales, no customers and a Lot fuLl of cars, so no doubt you ought to be abLe to strike up a goodLy bargain. I no Longer have any connections with the Detroit outfit. This was through my OzaLid saLesman who aLso caLLed on the ChrysLer plant and was abLe to make deaLs that way. So I thought I wouLd just go to our salws pLace here and see what they could do. But we aLL doubted that it would be financially profitable to make the trip East just for that, unless, of course, you would come to make visits and transact some business on the side. At any rate I have tried and perhaps something wiLL come of it. If it does that means we will have the pLeasure of seeing you sooner than expected, hamdu'LLilah! Just Let me know by what fLight you are arriving and we wiLL be _.<*$ down to meet you and bring you to A.A. I am sorry that due to our smaLl quaters we are unable to put up guests but I am sure you will understand. Mother is getting aLong pretty weLL...has been having a recurrence of her dizzy speLls and this is not at aLL pleasant. But to-day she is a bit better. It is always a great surprise to me how quidkly she recovers from her ailments! She bounced back from 3 months of bronchia L cough banggi just like that...but it was high time she did.
