Abstract |
Desulfurational experiment of four kinds of limestones produced in the northeastern part of China were done in a fixed bed. Their characteristic of desulfuration are quite different . Their pore structures which were derived from the calcination were studied. It was found that the specific volume and specific surface area of calcined limestones have the important influences on the capacity of SO% capture. Therefore, the sequence of the desulfuration of limestones are listed. The pore size distribution showed that the radius range of most of pores which play important role for desulfuration are 10-7~1 0-6m which corresponds the order of magnitude of the mean free path of SO% and O2 molecules. It is reasonable to think that the reaction of the SO2 with CaO on sarface of desulfurizer is by molecular diffusion controlld. |
