Show -5- SESSIONS · . S: Yes, and I had ten years there, a little over ten years at the Ftation. Of course, after the hospital closed our crew of course went down, was reduced, but I learned telegraphy. I had a few experiences to tell me to do it good. And·, N: What were those experiences? S: I wanted to send too fast, and it was ackward for the other man to receive what I was sending. I had a man that could send better than I could. I went to Cache Junction to relieve one of the men and he said "Heber", he said, "I'd like to give you a word of advice." Grant was eligible for membership. Twenty years was eligibility and he had been that long on the board of directors for the railroad. WP had a party at the Hotel Utah for him. And during that time, the experience that I had, during that time , biUught me in cltise t0uch with Mr~ Jeffers, president of the railroad. N: Oh yes. S: William Jeffers, and there was an experience, I don't know, maybe that would be nice to put that in here, it might help a little. I believe I have a copy of that in here somewhere.
