Dear Sir : Please forgive me for not having written for the last month or so. However, I have been extremely busy in continuing the work of the African Expedition in South Africa as well as making future arrangements from this side for work in Arabia and Sinai, I am enclosing for your interest a copy of our life magazine article which appeared this week on cur recent discoveries in South Africa. As Life has a circulation of over 26 million, which is the largest in the world, this story has done a great deal to keep up interest in the expedition's work0 Dr. Robert Broom, the 82-year-old palentjblogist and South Africa1s leading scientist, and the specimens arrive in New Xork in the next two days and I am taking him on a two-week lecture tour across America on his work with the expedition, I am also enclosing a picture story which appeared in the University's official newspapar. The other day I was happy to see Professor Mitwally in a newsreel which was shown here in the United States, "->. Would you please extend to him my best personal wishes and ^txJo^Jk-w?*/^Xtell him that as yet I have received not one single letter o r * W ^ U ^ ^-*AiCA' r*** {J^^iJ~>about this personally, as I can conceive of no possible-explanation for his silence, I am enclosing a copy of ~a letter just received from Dr. Luther Evans, Librarian of the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.
