My dear Aziz, How nice to hear from you and I am delighted you have received your copy of "Unknown Oman". I will shortly have a companion volume for you entitled "Oman A History", then a further volume entitled "Jesus, Mohammed and the Popes" which I know you will enjoyvery much. I am en route to Arabia where I am taking the West German oil companies into the Persian Gulf, Italians into the Indian Ocean for oil, and the Greek fishing vessels into the same area to fish for shrimp and crayfish. I have a new volume out shortly on Hajar Bin Humeid and I must remember to send you one. Bill and Gladys Terry have moved our headquarters to Geneva where we can serve His Majesty the King of Oman better, as we are now a very oil-rich country and we have much to do. I want to congratulate you on your magnificent accomplish­ments at the University of Utah, only you could have done it and I can see your mind is as active as ever in producing the magnificent new volumes. I am continually amazed at your activities and only a scholar of your unique ability and profound learning could have accomplished ifcas much as you have done. I would love to come and visit you should you need a Commencement speaker - I try to do one or two Colleges or Universities a year so if you could get in touch with me in advance I would be delighted to plan my schedule accordingly. I have made six trips around the world this year already, and the year is not over yet. I am now the largest oil concession holder* in the world. /Contd
