Show C- S> / y* / mJ-Prof. A.S. Atiya (Cont'd) within the next week or two for they are to be the editors of the series under which your volume will appear. I can assure you you will be very pleased with the results of our joint efforts and that when the volume appears through the Princeton University Press, it will be something that we will all be very proud of. Without going into details in our correspondence, I understand exactly what you mean by modifying slightly certain phases of the initial part of your presentation and I can assure you I have already taken care of this and that you will be very pleased with the results. I will pass along your good wishes and greetings to my Mother, and I am sure there is no other place in the world she would rather be, than Egypt, and possibly once she recovers sufficiently I might arrange to send her over for a short time. Please give my greetings to your wife as well, and thank you very much for your fcind offer of assistance. If you see Professor Mitwally, please give him my greetings and best wishes and tell him that I hope to visit Egypt in the near future. What is the latest news on Hosny and Sadek Gohar? If it is possible for you to tell me where they are and what their current activities are, I'd be very grateful to hear this. Thank you for the congratulations on my new decoration and actually since I wrote you I have received two or three other decorations and it would certainly be very nice if something could be arranged from Alexandria University, possibly on the time of the presentation of our microfilms to the University. For this will represent the largest manuscript microfilm acquisition of its kind in history and I think we should make a major event of it. Please let me hear from you soon, and I will be writing you again in the very near future with regard to the latest developments fro* this end. Best personal wishes. )m WBNDELL PHILLIPS |
