Show THE PATTEN FOUNDATION Mr. Will Patten of Indianapolis (A.B., Indiana University, 1893) made a gift in 1931 for the establishment of the Patten Foundation at his Alma Mater. Under the terms of this gift, which became available upon the death of Mr. Patten (May 3, 1936), there is chosen each year a Visiting Professor who is in residence for a part of the academic year.
