The Utah radio network is one of the best in the Western Athletic Conference and the entire nation. For the past 45 years, KALL radio has broadcast Utah football and basketball games. KALL broadcasts Ute athletic events on both its AM (910) and FM (94.1) stations; the latter which has translators statewide. KOAL (AM 750, Price, Utah) joined the Utah radio network eight years ago, and the Utah athletics department is currently negotiating with stations throughout the state to follow suit. KALL ensured its future as the station for Utah athletics in the spring of '95, when it signed a three-year contract with the U. athletics department. Terms of the new contract have KALL broadcasting all Ute football and men's basketball games, and select women's basketball games. Bill Marcroft, the "Voice of the Utes," will retain his play-by-play duties for the 27th year. Marcroft is joined in the booth at football games by former Ute quarterback Frank Dolce. Dolce is in his third season as color commentator for KALL radio. Pre-game, halftime and post-game shows on KALL are hosted by Brad Stone. Utah media relations director Bruce Woodbury joins the pre-game show each week, hosting the "Crimson Corner"-a feature on Ute sports other than football and men's basketball.
