Show ,** ***#'"%* ¦/g^-HJ****^^ We best remember Beth Ashton Cutler as a well-liked president of Spurs. An outstanding independent student, she handles difficult positions easily and is a member of Lamba Delta Sigma and the Home Economics Club. She has her own home economics interests for Beth is another mid-year mar-riage coed. Algene Bailiff is headed for a bright future. Such talent is not often found in an interesting and beautiful girl. Algene is promi-nent in Theta Alpha Phi and has taken many difficult leads and por-trayed them with ease. Golden-voiced Dantzel White Nelson replaced her chained Chi O and Sigma Chi pins for a wedding band last fall. While "Russ" studies medicine, she is a prominent figure in campus musicales, girls glee programs, and finds time to be active in Cwean while practice teaching in the city high schools. Charming Bonnie Howells, debate manager, can put over a point smoothly whether it be on the Chrony staff Wednesday night session or in meeting at the Kappa house. Associate editor of the Chronicle, Bonnie is also a member of Cwean and Mortar Board. Maurice L. Watts, known to us as "Nick," has sparked our Ute basketball team this year as he used to in pre-war years. Fun-loving, with an eye for beauty, he recently became a "hubby.'" Vivacious and musically talented, Kathryn Romney does a "fine job as Mortar Board president and did also in her office of AWS vice-president last year. Her piano playing is enhanced by the diamond that sparkles on her third finger, left hand. Three hundred fourteen |
