Bradshaw, past Vice-President, gage progress of the new Alumni Center construction in the Spring of 1979. gilife We welcome the Class of 1980 to the ranks of outstanding University of Utah alumni. Congratulations on your fine accomplishments. We are looking forward to a long and rewarding relationship. The year 1979-80 has been outstanding one for the Alumni Association. We have sponsored a wide range of programs with great success and support from both the community and University alike. However, the most exciting event of the year is the opening of the new Alumni House pictured above. For years, we have been serving over 115,000 alumni, 22,000 students and 3,000 faculty members from a home designed for a family of five. The Alumni House is located just north of the Sill Home Living Center on 155 South Central Campus Drive. It will be an important campus center for students, faculty, staff and community activities. It includes dining and reception facilities, office and record rooms, and adequate meeting space. Now that you are a member of the Alumni Association, you will be hearing from us. We'll send you news of the University, invite you to alumni activities and alert you to class reunions and other special events. The Alumni Association looks forward to serving you and the University of Utah in years to come. 38 |
