Show •-"¦¦v-yDramatic Club, and one of the two debaters who won against Idaho wore the '08.But it is as Juniors that we are best known. We began our season with a class social, the best ever given. That jolly hay-rack ride and dance will always be remembered with pleasure. The next event was the big Boulder game when we showed our school patriotism and aroused great interest by painting the town red, and advertising with our bon-fire. Then came the Promenade. Throughout our three years we have always performed our social duties well and our annual class dances have always been voted successful, but it is of our Junior Prom, that we are especially proud. Even among other class-men, its memory has not yet died. The Chronicle too, has had due representation from the '08's, and this year its staff is mainly made up of Juniors. Also the Dramatic Club again claims four of our members. We would not neglect to mention that an '08 enters the West Point Military Academy this spring, and that the only successful candidate for the Cecil Ehodes scholarship during the last four years, was formerly a member of our class. Through an extra effort, however, he has become identified with the '07 's in order to commence his work at Oxford next year.As for the rest of us, everything points to our last year being the most propitious of all.Pardon us for our conceit, but may we say in closing:"Here's to the class of naughty eight,To her we'll e'er be true, We'll ever honor the green and white, And cheer for the TL of U.^'^iiiiilliV * |
