Whee !Cs^HE class of nineteen hundred and eight after its three J years.at the University, needs no introduction to the S readers of the Utonian. The spirit manifested in that memorable meeting at the gate, when we as Freshmen promised loyalty to our class and school, and resolved to make the ;08 numerals stand for something worth while, has characterized us on all occasions since that time.Our efforts have not been along any one line, but we have taken a great interest, and furnished many participants in all the general school activities. On the football field in the theater and on the platform, not a few of our members have taken prominent parts and for their excellent work there, they will always be remembered.During the fall of our Freshman year, we were known by our red and white caps which first appeared at the Big Boulder game. But the event of the year came the next spring when we united with the present Senior class in building the big, white "U" on the hill. A precedent was then established which every future class will take pride in following.While we were Sophomores, one of our boys was elected President of the Student Body, and another filled the office of Treasurer.
