Wnen .Antimony was started he he located at this place among the early settlers and in 1882 bought land, where he lived southeast of the village. He erected his heme and put in otmr improvements and .cattle has been his chief interest. He rendered fai thf·u1 public servi ce in the offices of county coounissioner, registration officer a nd moad ' supervisor, amd was known as one of his canmuni t7~ s public-spirited citizens• He passed a~~y April 24, 1931. He has made a success of his activities and has also been prominent in local affairs. For the past twenty years he has been a ctive in the church of Jesus Christ of La tter Day Saints, having been formerly assistant Sunday School superintendent and assistant in the :ivlutual and bishop 's counselor. He is now bi shop of .Antimony Vard of the Garfield Stue. He is likewi se serving as constable of Antimony, in whi ch village he i s the owner of a ccmfortable home, erected by himself.
