Spatial Coverage presented at Short Hills, New Jersey
Abstract This paper summarises dynamic physical modelling techniques at reduced scale of full scale combustion air and exhaust gas systems. Examples of defective initial design are illustrated and the corrective actions required and implemented from the model derived data indicated. A commercial case is put forward for the application of dynamic model testing at the design concept stage of new fossil fuel fired plant and consideration of its employment on old plant where combustion performance is less than anticipated from the combustion equipment installed.
