Tradition has, to put it mildly, become considerably frayed recently, so let us, at all cost, defend the Bible - for this we shall need to Dut on the whole armor of God. But, as a start, we must watch out for the coming attempt to re-write the Bible by deleting all so-called "sexismll from it! (And have you noticed hObJ the adnition of "-ism" to a word suddenly turns it into 8 doctrine or dogma? Bit sneaky, that, don't you think? God invented sex and apparently thought it a Good Idea - it took Uncle Screwtape to add the -ism, but do we have to let him get away with it?) .Hi! "M JA),~;.to.., ~i) -tN" ,'s ""~ (I'ttl~ bro-ther LeD. We hAVR a very fine Society for the Preservation of the Book of Common Prayer. Now' may I make a very urgent plea for the formation of a Society for the Preservation of the Bible? Now I must add a little bit about Thanksqiving Day. From th ~ time Mass began until the last dish was cleared away after dinner there was such a beautiful atmosphere of happiness and fellowship. ~fter Mass we all scurried off in different directions to fini sh preparing our various contributions to the dinner. Youngsters seemed to be constantly on hand to carry things over to th ~ church until, thanks mainly to the genius of Navajo women for organization, we qot everything "to the church on time~1I And then we all sang and laughed and ate and drank together, right after almost all of us had partaken of the He8venly Food together. Truly an evening to be cherished forever in one's Memory Book. For which, praise God!
