Show to make 3uch reasonable examination of all books of account, and mines as may be necessary to obtain all proper information desired regarding the amount of product mined or removed, or being mined and removed, from said lands under this lease; and there shall be and there ins hereby created a lien on all implements, tools, movable machinery and other personal chattels, belonging to the party of the second part, used in'said prospecting and mining operations, and upon all minerals obtained from the land herein leased, as security for the quarterly payment of said royalties The coamnpda nmyi nhearsa lm ardeen tn.o payments of royalt2r since September 30; 1903J neither has it filed quarterly reports since April 30, 1904. The District Attorney has been furnished with a statement of the ore mined up to this date, as nhown by the company's quarterly reports. The reservation was opened to settlement on September 1, 1905. The Offioa con-jtends that the company is liable for the payment of royalties up to the time of opening. It will therefore be necessary to furnish the District Attorney with a statement of all ores mined from April 30, 1904 to September 1, 1905. It is da-sirable that the quantity and kind of ore mined at each group of mines - the Duchesne, the Thoman and the Potwin - shall be reported separately. You are accordingly instructed to make an examination of the company's books at each group of mines where ore has been mined and report to the Office the kind and quantity of ore mined at each group between April 30, 1904,and September |
