Several other works of a similar character are proposed; a full survey of the stream, hydrographical and topographical, is recommended; and, when all improvements are completed, it is believed that the navigation of the " beautiful Ohio " will answer every purpose of commerce and the traveller, from its source to its mouth, at the lowest stages of the water.
