Show ABSTRACT The petrochemical and process industries, especially in California, are in need of an efficient low emissions burner to satisfy existing and anticipated governmental restrictions on environmental pollution and energy consumption. A burner was developed and operated on a relatively continuous basis for several months. Data collection included the identification of flame stability and patternization, SO3, CO, O2 and particulate emissions, heat flux along the flame length, and operating noise levels. This work was conducted by, and at the expense of, Combustion Equipment Associates. 12-6 |
