His attendance at Ricks College and BYU culminated in his B.S. degree in 1966. Grant and Mary Elizabeth were married in 1964 and presently have two daughter. Erika and Heidi. The new doctor enjoys church work, tinkering, and reading novels and current events. In the difficult quest for the bes internship, the Petersons were seen at several of the free senior dinner sponsored by hospitals recruiting interns. It is rumored that Ma1yfel asleep at one of them (and she was not alone.) Grant plans a rotating internship, a residency in (most likely) Ob-Gyn, and private practice in Idaho. ALAN R. PRATT . . . the patriarch of the class and geologist by trade received a B.S. and an M.S. in geology before coming to medical schoo Al "Grandpa,, was a Marine from 1952-55 while most of us were stillin grade school. Among his interests are backpacking, camping, and reading His wife, Joanne, is a familiar face to us as she is a surgical nurse at the UUMC. Al was consistently one of the friendliest members of the clas and rarely did he speak an unkind word (except about tests). During the senior year, Al served as party chairman and class chaperone. Aftera rotating internship, he plans a residency in a surgical specialty, probably urology. 76 |
