H. upon Nelson Blessing and given Dearly beloved sister Mary, in the name of the Lord Jesus and by authority of the holy priesthood in me vested a patriarch in Israel, I bless you with a patriarchal blessing to be a guide and comfort and blessing unto thee through life, and to enable thee through thy faithfulness to keep thy covenants pure and holy before the Lord. Within thy Ephraim which in blessings at the be humble, veins floweth the blood of Israel of the tribe of connection with thy birthright entitles thee to great hand of thy Father in Heaven; therefore, dear sister prayerful and diligent before the Lord that you may be blessed with wisdom, discernment and counsel as a mother in Israel and as a handmaiden of the most high God for I bless you with a renewal of the holy spirit to comfort thee and bless thee and to strengthen thee in thy testimony of the truth of the work of God, and I bless thee that thy prayers shall be answered with blessings upon thy head and those who are near and dear unto thee, and as a mother in Israel I bless you with power over and with thy offspring, and you shall from this day forth have more power with thy companion in life and thy children, and shall have power to counsel them in righteousness that they shall rise up and call thee blessed before the Lord. I bless you with health and strength in thy body and with long life upon the earth, that your life may be one of blessing and usefulness before the Lord and through thy humility and diligence thou shalt be a power for good in the midst of the daughters and sons of God, and thy influence for good shall increase, that thou shalt have power to say words of counsel and advice that many shall see that in thee is the spirit of the Lord, and it shall be the means in the hand of the Lord of turning many from the error of their ways, that they 6hall rise up and bless thee before thy Father in Heaven, and the righteous desires of thy soul shall be given thee and it shall be revealed unto thee by the spirit of the Lord, what to do for thy loved ones and those around thee for their wellfare (sic) and their well being in the hours of sickness that thy loved ones shall be preserved unto thee and thou shalt signally see the hand of the Lord thy God is over thee for good. Therefore dear sister give heed to the whisperings of the holy 6pirit that shall come unto thee, for therein shalt thou be warned of dangers, seen and unseen to thee and thine. Be one with and sustain the priesthood of God that presides over thee and with thine husband |
