Message from the Chair Barbara Amidon At the last Ski Affair, it was announced that I was retiring as Chair of the Ski Archives. It was a short-lived retirement! I am happy to once again Chair this wonderful, fun event that raises money to support the preservation and research of skiing history in the Intermountain West. The Ski Archives Advisory Board is a volunteer board and I encourage you to consider becoming a friend to the Advisory Board. Volunteers are needed to not only organize the Ski Affair, of which there are varied committees, but to gather memorabilia out of garages, basements and attics, to identify people or places in photos and to assist in the research of some of our pioneers of this wonderful sport. It doesn't have to be just Utah skiing! We will be happy to have skiing history from anywhere.
