Show -1506- loads of oat bundles and put in another stack. Hauled up 2 jags of weeds J oats & lucerne and put on shed. Raked & plied hay in 16 of hauled from further field and piles up hay there. Can. Club did not at tend. Attended to stock. Unloaded 12 Oct 1923 Friday hay. Then hauled up 5 loads of bundle oat s and put in. stack & piled up lucerne in first field with horse rake. Ellis up in evening. Attended stock. Unloaded hay. Hauled 13 Saturday up big load of bundle oats and topped out stack. Hauled up rest of al falfa from further field and put scme on !'rOO! first field. At noon it began raining and had to quit. Chopped wood. in evening. - - 14 Sunday Attended to cows. Was out with cows t11112 At 2 p.m, attended meeting. I was called upon to collect subscriptions for the Anthon H. Lund monument. Attended priest hood meeting. Ra.ined steadily in afternoon. - noon, 15 Monday Very foggy. Attended to stock. Cut and shocked ended some fence. Ed out to Ellis'. In evening attended teachers training class. 12 present. 16 Tuesday Ed took team & mower to sec. to cut oats for hay. I cut & shocked corn on upper ten and herded cows. In afternoon out to sec. with hay rake and 17 Wednesday raked up over of oat hay. corn - & herded cows. - - 18 Thursday Unloaded oat bundles. Then took up in upper field. I went to sec and attended to stock. - , 19 Friday potatoes , Unloaded oat bundles. Then began getting up po ten. Took up 12 rows. Dance tonight, Ed went. Took up 14 rows of potatoes. Hauled up h9.y Saturday from ten. PaJmer Ketner. wife and daughter !/fartha. came in awhile in evening. Many people going to ice caves out sane 18 miles. 21 Sunday Attended oows &c. At 10,30 a.m. went to S.S. found Ellis, wife & children. Giles & Ruth had already cane up. All of us attended S.S. I conducted parents class. Had dirmer to gether. At 2 p.m, attended meeting. ElliS, wife & Ruth. left for Blackrock about 6.30 leaving Giles & Gordon here to go to schOOl. 22 Monday Attended to stock. Took up 12 rows potatoes in forenoon. In af'ternoon went out to sec. with team. Got 1 load of oat hay on shed, Wind blowing hard. Bro. a little hane. 23Tuesday Snowed a little wet snow last night. Unloaded wagon and then hauled up 2 sne.1l loads of corn fodder. 24 Wednesday Chor-ed around helping in house. Took up the tatoes - on 20 - - .... - - beets. Chopped wood. 25 Thursday Still cloudy. Attended to stock. Hauled up corn from ten. In afternoon hauled ,2 loads oat - hay. |
