Was up all night with Em. 6 Tuesday Laid down about 6 until 8 a.m, Helped some around until near 11 went up with 7 Wednesday Keath' !To for got 2 barrels of HpH.good and San couch team Roy of bedding because had no Friboff shipped but did not get bundle at Halstead yd. in afternoon. original bill. Stopped and worked 8 Thursday .:..' Walked up to Halsteads and worked thro the day. Up at 2020 a.m, to wait on Emna, quite sick she 9 Friday , - - - - 0 - is. Went up with Pearl who was down awhile Done sane business in town, Paid Dana 201.69 on house & lot, collected 12.50 rent till the 15th. 10 Saturday , pay for In Rode to work in Pearls car Rode back to Pear Is in car. - 4 days 159 750 evening got my night wai ting on EDIna taking turns with Up Sunday Libbie. At 101'30 attended S.So At 12 noon meeting held. Then came back to Roys and was there rest of time waiting on Em &c. Worked in Lumber yd. Roy took me up in car and 12 Monday Pearl took me back. Reed, letter fran Frihoff, his baby girl 11 in - - 9th. Wrote to him. also got letter fran Mary Was up in night waiting on Em. Worked at lJJm. yd. Roy took me up and bro. me back in car. Wrote to Fred. 14 Wednesday Up some in night with F.lmB. Thro. the day at work at Lum. yd. In evening with 15 Thursday Up early with my wife Fmna waitstil1 Mecham who was suffering considerable. At 3.45 she departed this life being 61 yrs. 2 mos. 15 days old. born Oct. 18, 1858. Had her laid out, arranged about burial. Bought lot in Mesa cemetery Elaine died 7, bur. 13 Tuesday I - - • - 17.50 casket 140 clothes &0. Roy, Libbie and Pearl assisting me. 16 Friday Getting arranged and ready. About noon body - dressed and later put in casket. About 2 p.m. left with body in casket in auto Phaeton for 1st ward chapel where Bp. Isaac Dana at 2.30 p.m, conducted funeral services. 1st eymn sung was Sister thou was m11d and lovely. Elder G. Phelps made opening prayer, l'zymn sung God Moves in a sterious WaY. Elder John T. 'Lesueur gave the opening address. Prest. J .W.Lesueur followed and p. I. Dana made the closing address. Hymn sung Farewell all earthly honors. Benediction by Bp, James M.Harne.
