She was. discharged re covered, eighteen pounds heaver. Three children since released. Five years before her first admission the record. says it was supposed she had syphilis, but the hospital tasserman test was negative and she was told what she had had was not a true syphilis. "She is in no condition, mentally or phYsically to bear children, and should be sterilized." Somewhat dependent upon charity organizations since 1926. Did not want to leave hospital. A last commitment, de lusion: thinks her brain has turnedo water and is of no use. Has tried to get into the hospital since last dis charge, but this is apparently a device of hers to escape a hard life with her drunken, immoral, bootlegger husband. ugust 1928.
