To anyone that has bwen around the Fort Doug las District during t he last three years~ Sergeant Reynolds and his reputation is well knmm. The Sergeant spent 22 months. with Headquarters Compa ny a t the Fort where h is a bility as Mess Sergeant was rated as t he best in t he district and whe r e his kitchen was always <.;&?..rked excellent by the inspectors. Since t h is Company broke up the Sergeant has been used as trouble shooter., being assigned to eight companies for short periods to get t heir mess fund built up and to serve better meals to the enrollees. Wi:l;hout an exception th!.s has been done and the Sergea.ht t hen., has had to r:rove to straighten out another company mess. Sergeant Reynolds reports t hat he likes the kitchen a nd t he personell ' that he finds here. After a short time he promised that t his company wUl be rated among the best. From the l ooJrn of the mes s the last month., even we are sure that we will be getting better and b i gger mea ls. The staff welcomes The Sergeant and his charming wife as new members of our big happy family. Keep up the good work Sergeant. We are all for you I and will do our part. We h ope y ou will stay with us and help make th is the best camp in the district for Captain Carpenter's sake and for all concerned.
