By Edward Hochmut h ORAN YOUNG Oran (Bill) Yo ung was b orn in Sout Fork, Pennsy lvania 1914 , but now hails from Akron, Oh io . He is made of t he r eal s tuff called " English", and attends t he prote s tant church of his city . His f avorite ho bby is Journali sm, whic h is also his main inte r est in the c amp . He enlisted on October 31, 1 933 a n d traveled to S a n Di e go , Californ i a for a six months s tay . He t hen returned home, to enroll a gain on Oct . 2 , 1936 when he came to Bri g ham City, Bring ing wit h him his ho bby whic h made him Editor - In-C h ief of our camp paper. But it was only t hrough hard steady w·ork as a member of the journali sm clas s·, to a r epor ter on tho staff , after which his wr ite - ups and his gr e.nunar turned thoughts to hig her t hings , and still wor king his ·way up he became assistan t l edit or, then with a hard job before him he came out on to p as Editor,l in- Chief .
