"You can fill this," she said to the woman as she came up with a small paper cup. The girl turned suddenly to someone else, a new arrival at the counter. The woman turned to the man. "Urine specimen," he said. "They have to run some tests on you the first time. I had to do it. There's a bathroom back there."
