Show Vol. I. FEBRUARY 15, 1924. No. 4. HELPS. -o- Wednesday, February 7, Coach Roberts from the Brigham Young University spent from 10 A. M. until 1:30 P. M. with the students of the Delta High School. His classes were Held in the dance hall. So many students were interested that we had no trouble filling the floor. Coach Roberts first took up the posture of dancers and showing the right from the wrong position, taking first the arms, next the knees, then the feet. He gave some steps that can be used instead of so much rapid one-stepping. He taught the King Tut for-trot and some of the Tango steps which will, no doubt, from now on be popular steps among the students. Coach Roberts demonstrated the four types of standard dancing, The Waltz, One-step, Fox trot, and Tango and also proved the necessity of knowing how and being able to dance each. He also gave some mixing games which can be used to good advantage in the breaking up the click circles in our school. The social problem has for some time, been a puzzle but now the students have had a taste of'good clean social life it will not be so hard to get them to respond to the call of the leaders. Furthermore we are not going to let this drop and forget It as it is eo easily done, but we aim to keep it throughout our social life. Mr. F. G. Eyre has kindly consented to lend his assistance in helping to keep up the interest among the students. Mr. Eyre is very capable and can do much in helping the young people of the school.
