Show NFS Form 10-900-a Utah WordPerfect 5,1 Format (Rev. 2/93) 0MB No. 10024-0018 United States Department of the Interior National Park Service National Register of Historic Places Continuation Sheet Section No. 7 Page 2 Peterson/Burr House, Salina, Sevier County, UT The interior of the house remains substantially unaltered from the original with the exception of bathrooms introduced into the southeast rooms on both levels. The main entry is off the wrap around porch. (See schematic floor plan and photo no. 1.) An original, uniquely paneled and wood grained enclosed stairwell exists within the entry (see photo no. 4). To the east is the parlor in the south-facing projecting bay. The door from the parlor is an original, paneled and wood grained door with a transom. Off the same entry is a west facing projecting bay that contains the dining room. The large dining room provides access to the kitchen and the side porch. The wall between the dining room and kitchen incorporates an original china pass-through now covered on the dining room side. The kitchen has been updated and several bathrooms have been added for the building's use as a bed and breakfast. All of the interior has been carefully restored including repair and refinishing of woodwork and installation of appropriate wallpapers and light fixtures (not original to the house).
