Th particular man aims to be somebody; t set up for himself;to truck and higgle fo a private good; and, in particulars, to rid that he may ride; to dress that he may b dressed ; to eat that he may eat; and to govemn, that he may be seen. Men seek to b great the woul hav offices, wealth power, and fame. They think that to b great is to get only one side of nature, the sweet, without the other side,-th bitter Steadily is this dividing and detachin counteracted. Up to this day it must b owned no projector has had the smalles success. The parted water re-unites behin our hand. Pleasure is taken out of pleasan things, profit out of profitable things, powe out of strong things, the moment we see to separate them from the whole.
