Plate 18 (reproduced below) gives en Thefirst Dutch engravingof the Hollander. From Groo Volkomen Moolenboek, Amsterdam, 1734-36 gravings of Hollanders, or beating engines, which were used for the pre paration of papermaking material. This was the first presentation of thes machines in the country of their invention.
