The contributing circa 1930s Frame one-car garage has a simple gable roof and is covered in wide clapboards with a new door. The Christensen house property is one portion of several associated parcels, There is an old orchard plot east of the property and a recently built two-story house north of the garage. The house is located in a neighborhood that includes a mix of pioneer-era and early twentieth-century residences with some newer infill. For the most part, the older houses retain their large lots and semi-rural feel. The Richmond City Cemetery is two blocks to the north. 'The Carl F, and Sophia Christensen House has excellent integrity and is a contributing resource in Richmond. |
