Show KHOI (Streblus asper, Lour. The bark of this treeis used in Southern Siam for makin paper. This illustration is from Zeones Plantarum Indiz Orientalis by Robert Wight, publishedin 1853, The tre is termed Bpicarpurus orientalis by Wight, while in th Journa of Botany edited by Sir William Jackson Hooker the name is given as Trophis aspera. Both of these name are obsolete, and the proper appellation is Streb/ies asper In the Judex Kewensis the plant is referred to thefamil Urticaceat, whereas in Willis® Dictionary of Flowerin Plants and Ferns,the plant is given asa member of Mora- ceae.
