Thus, when a particular diking option ( D) is chosen, its area ( AD) and volume ( VD) can be subtracted from the total, and the remainder is considered the area and volume of the south part. The altitude, area, and volume relationships for the diked areas and the north and south parts are shown in table 9. The area in the south part incorporated by evaporating ponds belonging to the National Lead Corp. has been omitted from the south part altitude, area, and volume relationships. |
