Show at Manti I want to apply for the position as manager of the exchange. <br><br> Would you please send me a recommendation which I can send in with my application? <br><br> If I do not succeed in getting regular work for this winter I will certainly come back to Westminster. At Present, I am planning to come back a year from this fall. <br><br> Jessie told me that she had applied for a position in the telephone office but hasn't succeeded in getting it yet. <br><br> I want to thank you, Mr. Sweazey, for all your kindness to me during my stay at school. I appreciate it very much. I know our class was a great deal of trouble to you but we were so glad that we got through commencement all right and did not disgrace the Collegiate. <br><br> I heard yesterday of the new little boy. In this letter to George Sweazey, Lillian Hornung writes that she is to apply for a manager position in the winter and asks Mr. Sweazey to write a recommendation for her. She comments that if she doesn't find work for the winter she plans on returning to Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She then writes about a class she had with Mr. Sweazey, and congratulates him on his new little boy. George Sweazey is principal of the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute, and Lillian Hornung was one of his students. |
