Loar and Dr. Silver. <br> At 7:45 Sunday evening the large union young people's meeting was led by Dr. Silver. He took for his subject Hebrews 6:19. "Which Hope we have as an anchor of the Soul," etc. The meeting was a good one and some twenty-five took part. <br> At 7:40 Mr. Loar announced the first hymn of the praise service. The large auditorium of the Methodist church was crowded in every part, many standing. Some fifteen hundred were present. By request of Mr. Loar, Dr. Silver sang, "Throw out the Life Line." <br> Prof. W. W. Howe's address was interesting and instructive. The need of Bible study was shown and the Bible contrasted with books that are so eagerly read today. The Bible heroes were contrasted with well known historical persons and it was well shown that the Bible contained characters more worthy of study than any other book.
